Cultivating connections to each other and to our community’s history by asking the question: “How did you land in Peacham?”

Peacham Landings is a unique storytelling project led by the Peacham Library in partnership with the Peacham Historical Association. Peacham had a story of landings long before the current residents arrived. The historical context for why people chose to “land” in Peacham presents a backdrop to the stories of those who reside here today.

This community-born project will encourage discovery of history and stories of our neighbors, as we share and discuss our reasons for landing in this particular place at this particular time.

The project was funded through a grant from Vermont Humanities Council and launched during the summer of 2019.

Sorry! Our interviews are currently unavailable. We are in the process of reconnecting and hope to be back soon.
