Peacham History

Peacham, The Story of a Vermont Hill Town by Ernest L. Bogart.   Referring to the collections of Peacham history by Miss Jane E. Cowles, and utilizing the bequest of Jenny C. Watts, Mr. Bogart was able to publish this magnificent history for the town. Rescanned and reissued in an improved edition in 2022

The Peacham Anthology is a collection of writings about the village of Peacham, VT, published by the Peacham Historical Association in 2004.  The Peacham Anthology compiles over 40 articles spanning subjects such as The Civil War, blacksmithing, poetry, religion, politics, education, country life, farming and tourism. The anthology is a fantastic keepsake of New England History.

People of Peacham by Jennie Chamberlin Watts and Elsie A. Choate, published by the Vermont Historical Society in 1965. This is another key publication which summarizes the vast family histories in Peacham.
